Professional Music Production Mentorship & One-on-One Training
Let’s get your music unstuck. Refine your workflow, sharpen your sound, and actually finish your tracks with direct help from an experienced producer based in Montreal.
Why isn't your music moving forward?
We’ve all been there. You love making music, but passion alone doesn’t always cut it. Usually, the wall you’re hitting isn’t a lack of gear—it’s a lack of clarity.
The real struggle for most producers is the “paralysis of choice.” It’s that feeling of having 50 plugins but not knowing which one actually fixes your mix. Or having a great 8-bar loop that never turns into a full song.
You don’t need another generic YouTube tutorial. What you need is an honest human conversation with someone who has been in the trenches for 25 years and can tell you exactly what’s holding your specific tracks back.
You feel like you have been following up all the best tutorials and acquired all the necessary tools but yet, it doesn’t get easier or sound better.
Mentorship that feels so human
I don’t do “pre-packaged” lessons. Music is personal, so the training should be too. Everyone learns in their own way and have their own challenges. This is about bringing back the old-school apprenticeship model—real, human feedback tailored to your specific creative goals.
Forget the rigid curricula. We’re going to sit down and figure out:
- How you think about your sound.
- Why you’re getting stuck in certain spots.
- What you can do to make your process feel fun again, rather than a chore.
We will analyze your workflow and there is the culprit. I will show you my method that lets me create album after album. Then we will see how we can create your own method that will deliver results.
This isn’t just about technical “how-to.” It’s about creative confidence. You will have a side-kick, me.
What we can dig into

- Custom Workflow. Music-making is not just technical. It starts with a mindset and organizational strategy to make every studio session fun, productive.
- Sound Design with a purpose: Moving past presets to build a sonic identity that people actually recognize.
- Arrangement & Workflow: Strategies to stop the “loop cycle” and finally get your tracks signed.
- Modular patching: Learn how synthesis can reshape how you create sounds.
- Mixing: I will show you how I fix issues and how I make any loop sound professional.
- Project Reviews: We’ll open your project files together. I’ll show you exactly how I’d approach your mix or signal flow.
- Studio configuration: It’s one thing to have gear, it’s another to organize it to deliver results.
- Live Performance: Learn how to convert your songs into performances and jams into songs.
- The “Mental Game”: Dealing with creative burnout, impostor syndrome, and the pressure to be “consistent.”
- Industry Reality: Real-talk about labels, promotion, and finding your place in the scene without burning out.
The Practical Stuff
- Book your time: Online and flexible.
- Jump on Zoom: Bring your coffee, your projects, and your questions.

👉🏻 Keep moving: You’ll walk away with a clear list of “next steps” for your music.
Is this for you?
This is for the producers who are done with “quick fixes.” It’s for you if:
- You feel isolated and overwhelmed thinking about music making.
- You’re tired of your tracks sounding “almost” professional.
- You have a hard drive full of unfinished ideas.
- You want real, high-level artistic feedback, not just a “nice job” from friends.
- You’re ready to invest in your own growth as an artist.
Why this works
I’ve been releasing music since 1999. I’ve seen the industry change, but the core of a good track remains the same. My approach is about teaching you how to hear and how to learn, not just which buttons to push. I don’t want to spoon-feed you answers; I want to give you the tools to solve your own creative puzzles for years to come. I train people to be autonomous quickly.

FAQ
Most frequent questions and answers
This consultation is for electronic music producers, composers, and sound designers at any level — from beginners to experienced artists — who want clarity, feedback, and guidance to move forward.
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed by tools, uncertain about your direction, or simply want an experienced outside ear, this service is designed for you.
Not at all.
The consultation adapts entirely to your level and your needs. I work with beginners too.
Whether you are just starting out or already releasing music, the session is shaped around where you are and what will help you most right now
The consultation is tool-agnostic and focuses on musical thinking, sound design principles, and creative process. Some people make music on their iPad and that works.
That said, Ableton Live is commonly used, and modular synthesis, hardware, and other DAWs can also be discussed depending on your setup.
You can prepare:
- A project you are working on (finished or unfinished)
- Specific questions or challenges you’re facing
- A general idea of what you’d like help with
- Upload some of your music on a private playlist for reviewing.
You don’t need to prepare anything formal — just bring what feels most relevant to you.
Pheek is fluent in both English and French.
Yes — you are welcome to record the session for personal learning and reference afterward.
It is both — but with a strong emphasis on creative thinking and musical understanding.
Rather than only showing how to use tools, the goal is to help you understand why you use them, how to listen better, and how to make clearer artistic decisions. I follow what you need to get where you want to go.
Yes — many producers struggle not because they lack skills, but because they lack clarity and confidence in their decisions.
The consultation helps you identify what truly matters in your project so you can move forward and finish with intention instead of doubt. In some cases, we can finish our track as a team, where you’ll see me take decisions, fix problems and wrap it up.
Both options are possible.
You can book a single session for a specific need, or use multiple sessions over time as part of an ongoing mentorship and artistic development process. The advantage of long-term mentorship is that I track your progress and will anticipate your needs, preparing exercises.
Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes. Only one session per day is possible.
The price is only $80 CAD per session.
No.
The consultation is genre-independent and focuses on principles that apply across electronic, experimental, ambient, techno, house, cinematic, and hybrid forms of music.
Yes — the session can also include discussion around artistic positioning, labels, releases, and long-term creative direction, depending on your needs. I can help you create an investment plan for buying the right gear, hire the right team to help you and find the right websites to answer your questions.
Most tutorials teach techniques.
This consultation teaches how to think, listen, decide, and grow as an artist. See it as a dynamic, custom-made tutorial for you only.
It follows a traditional mentorship approach — personal, reflective, honest, and grounded in real experience — rather than quick hacks or rigid formulas.
That’s completely fine. That’s actually a good thing. Discussing with a professional can give you insight on things you didn’t know.
Many people come precisely because they feel unclear. The consultation itself helps clarify where you are, what’s blocking you, and what the next meaningful step should be.
Simply book directly through the product page (link here). After booking, you’ll receive instructions to schedule your Zoom session.
Rescheduling is possible with reasonable notice. Please refer to the booking terms on the product page for details.
Yes. Everything discussed during the consultation is private and treated with respect and discretion. This is to ensure that you can ask questions, even the ones that make you feel embarrassed and not feel judged.
