Philosophy
More than a technical space
The studio was built around one idea: helping artists create with clarity and momentum.
Since 1998, Pheek has been slowly but steadily building a studio that can fulfil his needs both in production and audio engineering. After running multiple labels, Pheek learned audio engineering to help his community, and with time, people have been reaching out to have help on their projects. Since 2015, Pheek has launched audio services and is now opening a studio to people through retreats or production sessions.
Instead of focusing only on equipment, the environment is designed to support workflow, experimentation, deep listening, and long-form creative sessions.
Whether working on a single track, preparing a live set, or developing a complete artistic direction, the goal is always the same: remove friction and help ideas emerge naturally.

Studio Capabilities
My studio is located in Shefford, Quebec. It is a house that can host up to 10 people, with a second building that can be used as either a dorm or a private studio.
What the studio is built for
Music Production
From initial ideas to fully arranged tracks. People who have been working on an album and need help finalizing everything come to the studio, spend a few days, and we make sure the album is ready for release.
Mixing & Mastering
Translation-focused mixing and mastering for electronic music. My studio has made mixing and mastering its main product, and I can do this with people present in the studio.
Live Set Development
Build and rehearse hybrid or improvised performances. One of the beautiful aspects of where I am is access to a vast expanse of land with forests and beautiful scenery. It is possible to rehearse, but also to record or livestream your set in nature or in a different context than at home.
Sound Design
Exploratory workflows using modular systems, synthesis, resampling, and processing chains. If you’re familiar with Pheek’s music, you know that sound design is one of the centrepieces of his work.
Coaching & Mentorship
Workflow development, creative direction, and technical guidance.
A Different Way of Working
Most studios are designed around efficiency.
This space was designed around attention.
Located in a quiet countryside environment, the studio offers a slower and more focused pace that allows artists to step away from distraction and reconnect with the creative process. The goal is not simply to finish music faster, but to create the conditions where ideas can emerge naturally and evolve with clarity.
The studio is built for long-form sessions, experimentation, deep listening, and immersive workflow development. Whether working on a live set, refining arrangements, recording ideas, or simply searching for direction, the environment encourages presence and exploration rather than pressure.
Over the years, the space has become more than a production room. It functions as a creative laboratory where artists can:
- test ideas freely
- develop personal workflows
- explore sound design
- rehearse performances
- receive detailed feedback
- reconnect with unfinished projects
The surrounding environment also plays an important role in the experience. Forest trails, quiet evenings, open land, and distance from the city create a rhythm that supports concentration and reflection.
Some artists come here to complete a project.
Others come to reset creatively.
Both approaches are welcome.
Artist Retreats
The studio also hosts small-scale artist retreats focused on electronic music creation, creative development, and meaningful collaboration.
These retreats are intentionally kept intimate to encourage genuine exchange between participants. Rather than a traditional classroom format, the experience combines guided workshops, listening sessions, collaborative exploration, and independent studio time.
The retreats are designed for artists who want to:
- rebuild creative momentum
- improve workflow and organization
- finish unfinished ideas
- explore new techniques
- receive thoughtful feedback
- connect with like-minded musicians
Activities may include:
- production workshops
- sound design sessions
- live performance experimentation
- deep listening exercises
- group critiques
- collaborative music-making
- discussions about workflow, creativity, and artistic direction
The countryside setting plays an essential role in the experience. The slower pace, shared meals, nature, and immersive atmosphere help create a space where artists can focus deeply while remaining connected to others.
Each retreat is different, shaped by the participants, the season, and the evolving creative energy of the group.
Whether attending for technical growth, artistic clarity, or simply the experience of creating music in a focused environment, the retreats are built to support both the artist and the process behind the work.
